The screen recorder for Mac that replaces client meetings

Record your screen and camera, press stop, paste the link. Your client watches in any browser. Your videos stay on your Mac.

  • No spam
  • One email when it's ready
  • One-time offer

Three steps. Two of them are keys.

No editor to open, no upload page, no settings to get through. JustRec lives in your menu bar and stays out of the way.

  1. ⌥⇧R01

    Press the shortcut

Pick your screen, a window or an area, plus camera and microphone. JustRec remembers your choice for next time.

  2. Talk02

    Walk them through it

Pause whenever you need to. Drag your camera bubble anywhere, resize it, or hide it for a moment.

  3. Stop03

    Paste the link

The video uploads while you breathe out, and the link is already in your clipboard. Send it on WhatsApp, Slack or email.

Your client clicks. That's it.

No account, no app, no sign-up wall. The video opens in any browser, on desktop or phone, with subtitles and your name on top.

  • Opens in any browser, on any device
  • Subtitles included
  • Your agency's name on the page
  • No cookies, no tracking

Coming soon

  • Link previews in WhatsApp, Slack and Mail
  • A button under the video, like “Approve the design”
  • Comments pinned to the exact second
  • Your videos stay on your Mac

Only what you share goes online, and it's deleted when the link expires: 3 days on Lifetime, 30 on Personal and Team.

  • Stored in the EU

Shared videos live on servers in the European Union, only until the link expires.

  • Subtitles made on your Mac

Speech-to-text runs on your Mac. Your voice is never sent to an external AI.

  • No tracking on the video page

No cookies, no analytics, no account for your client. They watch, and that's all.

Everything you need. Nothing to learn.

Built natively for macOS, so it starts instantly and feels like part of your Mac.

Screen, window or area

Record the whole screen, one window, or just the part that matters.

Camera bubble

Round, square or 16:9. Drag it, resize it, hide it while you record.

Click highlights

A soft pulse shows every click, so your client never loses the cursor.

Automatic subtitles

Generated on your Mac in the language you speak, then attached to the link.

Titles that write themselves

JustRec suggests a title from your first words. Edit it in one click.

A library on your Mac

Every video saved locally. Preview, rename, reshare or withdraw a link anytime.

  • Trim start and end
  • Backgrounds
  • Auto zoom on clicks
  • Draw on screen
  • Hide notifications

Replace the meeting, not the conversation.

A two-minute video says more than a long email, and nobody has to find a free slot in the calendar.

Walk through the mockup

Point at the details while you explain them, instead of writing a wall of comments your client will read in the wrong order.

Hand over the finished work

Give a short tour of what's new and how to use it. Your client can watch it again whenever they need it.

Explain the numbers first

Walk your client through the proposal before they get stuck on the total, and answer the questions they haven't asked yet.

Show what's broken

Record the bug as it happens: where, when and how to reproduce it. No more screenshots with red arrows.

JustRec vs Loom vs the built-in recorder

Loom is great if you want your videos in the cloud. macOS can record your screen for free. JustRec sits in between: native, private, and it gives you a link.

Where are my videos stored?

On your Mac, in your Movies folder. When you share one, a copy is uploaded to servers in the EU and deleted when the link expires.

Does my client need an account?

No. They open the link in any browser, on desktop or phone. No sign-up, no app, no cookies.

How long do links last?

3 days on Lifetime, 30 days on Personal and Team. You can withdraw a link earlier, and share the same video again later from your library.

How long can a video be?

Up to 10 minutes on Lifetime, and up to 30 minutes on Personal and Team.

Which languages do subtitles support?

Subtitles are generated on your Mac in the language you speak, including English, Italian, Spanish, French, German and Portuguese.
